Eugene, OR — Registration for the 2026 Eugene Marathon is now open! 2026 will mark the 19th running of the event, which started in 2007 and includes the pinnacle marathon distance alongside a half marathon on Sunday, April 26, and the Eugene 5K and Kid’s Duck Dash presented by OCCU on Saturday, April 25.

The annual event, which is the Pacific Northwest’s largest marathon, takes place in the communities of Eugene and Springfield; all races start outside Hayward Field at the University of Oregon and finish on the iconic track. It also includes the Health & Wellness Expo at the Graduate Hotel starting on Friday, April 24.

All distances sold out in 2024 and 2025, so interested participants are encouraged to register early at EugeneMarathon.com.

The 2025 Eugene Marathon was another record-breaking weekend in Track Town, USA, as more participants than ever before ran in the footsteps of legends on the last weekend in April. In all, over 14,000 runners from 50 states and 29 countries were represented across all four races.

Additionally, the Eugene Marathon’s Run for a Reason program raised a combined $284,000 for local non-profits. And over 1,500 volunteers were called upon to make the event run smoothly from the Expo, to the course, to the finish line.

“2025 was a year unlike any other for the Eugene Marathon,” said Race Director Ian Dobson. “And 2026 promises to be yet another year of potential growth in both numbers and event experience as we work tirelessly with our community, our dedicated volunteers, our invaluable partners, and our passionate charity teams to make it the best ever yet again.”
