Bring your energy and get ready to cheer for thousands of runners and walkers from all across the country as they speed their way along the 26.2 and 13.1 mile courses. Our 2020 race promises to offer spectacular views for our Eugene community and those visiting Eugene just for the race. Spectator map coming in 2020.
One of our favorite things is seeing the signs that spectators hold up for participants as they pass by. From motivational to humorous, holding signs is a great way to cheer on participants throughout the course. Take a picture of your funny or motivational sign and post it on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #EM20Signs and you will be entered into a contest to win a Eugene Marathon prize basket!
Do you get bored waiting for your runner to finish their race? Have a hard time seeing your runner through the crowds of people at the popular spectator spots? Sign up to volunteer as a Course Marshal and get a front-row seat as the runners pass by! Click here to visit our volunteer page and reserve your seat on race day!
