Awards & Medals
All finishers receive a unique finisher medal. Additional awards are given to overall winners, overall master winners and the top three men and women of each age group in the marathon, half marathon and 5K.
- 8:40 a.m.: Kids Duck Dash awards
- 9:15 a.m.: Eugene 5K awards
- 9:30 a.m.: Half Marathon awards
- 110:45 a.m.: Full Marathon awards
All awards will be given at the main stage. For age group awards, please pick them up from the awards tent on race day. Unclaimed awards will be mailed to participants within 30 days of the race.
Age groups (Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K):
19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85 and over.
**There is a 14 and under award for the 5K race.
All awards are decided based on the runner’s chip time. See past years results.
Prize Money will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both the marathon and half marathon. Unlike age-group awards, prize money will be awarded based on gun time only.
The 2020 Eugene Marathon provides support for a limited number of qualifying athletes though our Elite Athlete Program. Qualifying athletes may complete our Elite Athlete Application and will be given full program information upon receipt of application.
Elite Athlete Program time standards (must be achieved after Jan 1, 2018):
|Marathon||2:30 (Masters – 2:40)||2:55 (Masters – 3:05)|
|Half Marathon||1:10 (Masters – 1:15)||1:22 (Masters – 1:27)|
In order to qualify for elite entry and prize money in the Eugene Marathon and Half Marathon, athletes may not have any positive drug test on record. The Eugene Marathon will not provide support for any athlete who has served a drug suspension or who works with a coach or manager who has served a drug-related suspension. Elite athletes and any athlete earning prize money may be subject to drug testing and prize money will be paid only after the results of those tests are final.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row] Awards and Elites
