Statement on Flooding in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore., Apr. 9, 2019 – Recent heavy rains in the Willamette Valley have caused flooding on portions of our Marathon course. Based on weather forecasts and statements from the Army Corps of Engineers, we expect water levels to remain high through the middle of this week and to begin to recede later in the week. Athlete and volunteer safety is our number one priority. At this point, we do not anticipate that this will impact our event and we encourage participants to continue to plan for a successful Marathon Weekend.
