EUGENE, Ore., Mar. 1, 2019 – The Eugene Marathon is proud to announce the Krusteaz Doublestack Challenge, which encourages participants to participate in the Marathon or Half Marathon on Sunday and Eugene 5K on Saturday.
By participating in the Krusteaz Doublestack Challenge, participants receive two finisher’s medals, a special Krusteaz Doublestack Challenge finisher’s medal, two goodie bags, two bib numbers, two pancake breakfasts and one t-shirt.
“This is an easy, inexpensive and fun opportunity for our participants to earn an extra medal during race weekend. The Krusteaz Doublestack Challenge is a first for us, and we’re excited to make this happen as we continue to grow in the footsteps of legends,” said Race Director Richard Maher.
To participate in the challenge, participants must sign up first for the Marathon or Half Marathon. Upon registration, a unique promotion link is sent in a confirmation email to sign up for the Eugene 5K at a discounted $15 price. After signing up for both races, participants are automatically registered for the Krusteaz Doublestack Challenge. During race weekend, they can collect race materials during the Health and Wellness Expo at the Lane Event Center.
“In a nutshell: we want everyone to participate in this. Growing the Eugene community through our community is a huge goal. Join us!” said Maher. For more information, please contact Director of Communications Justin Hanes Justin@eugenemarathon.com.
