BAG CHECK
Bag Check is located on 15th, across from the UO Rec Center. Bags with warm-up clothing may be checked at the starting line. Please use your "Green Goodie Bag" given to you at packet pick-up for your gear. (Your "Green Goodie Bag" is a reusable, eco-friendly bag similar to bags you can purchase at grocery stores - a great souvenir!) Tie the handles together and zip tie the tear tag from the bottom of your bib number around the handles (zip ties provided at Packet Pick-up). Volunteers will assist you with locating your bag at the same location after the race. Do not put anything of value in your bag; the Eugene Marathon is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Discarded items left at the start and bags not picked up will be donated to a local charity.

PACERS
This year we have partnered with the Clif Bar Pace Team. Signing up to run with one of the
pace groups is easy and offered FREE to all registered marathoners. Either register online or sign-up at the Clif Bar Pace Team booth at the Eugene Marathon Expo. Pace Team Leaders will be available at the booth throughout Expo hours. You can also find more information about pacers online. Pace groups will be available for the following times: 3:10 (Michael), 3:20 (Darris), 3:30 (George), 3:40 (Scott), 3:50 (Bill), 4:00 (Jeff), 4:15 (Star), 4:30 (Kathleen), 5:00 (Lori), 5:30 (Maneesha).
CORRALS
This year, to ensure a smooth and safe start for all participants, the field will be separated into two self-seeding corrals. We ask that you enter one of the two corrals according to your estimated pace per mile. Lining up with the fastest in the front and progressively slower runners/walkers behind will minimize the amount of unnecessary passing during the first few miles and make for a safer and more enjoyable event for everyone.
Corral #1 = 10 Minutes Per Mile and faster
Corral #2 = 10 Minutes Per Mile and slower
WATER STATIONS/RESTROOMS
The marathon course has 16 water stations, staggered approximately every 2 miles. Earth2O Water and Lemon-Lime Gatorade will be served at every water station. Clif Shot Energy Gel will be available for marathon participants at mile 12 and 20. Portable restrooms are located at the start, finish and every few miles along the course.
AID STATIONS
Aid Stations are stationed approximately every 2 miles and at the finish line.
MILE MARKERS
Each mile will be clearly marked along the race course. Special thanks to our local sponsor, Gorilla Capital, for sponsoring the mile markers!
This year don't miss our special tribute down the final mile of the marathon and half marathon courses honoring our 26 Eugene Legends! As participants cruise down Agate Street toward the finish line at historic Hayward Field, they'll be reminded that they are truly 'running in the footsteps of LEGENDS.'
SPECTATOR LOCATIONS
Bring your energy and get ready to cheer for thousands of runners and walkers, from all across the country, as they speed their way along the 26.2 and 13.1 mile courses. Starting at the University of Oregon’s famous Hayward field, the courses run through 9 miles of Eugene’s streets and 5 miles of Springfield’s streets. The marathon course winds the rest of the way along the Willamette River bike path ending in the shadow of Hayward Field. Some specific spectator locations include: Alton Baker, Amazon, Maury Jacobs, Skinner Butte and Willamalane Parks. Or dine along the river/course at Valley River Inn’s Sweetwaters and Northbank’s McMinnemins restaurants. Come out and show these runners why Eugene/Springfield is considered Track Town, U.S.A.
